Warranty and service

Luminaires. Standard Warranty.

The standard warranty for finished products (luminaires) under the SVL trademark is 5 years, unless otherwise specified in the product data sheet.

The warranty terms apply to the product as a whole. SVL warranty obligations do not apply to individual elements or modules of the luminaires.

Upon submission of a faulty luminaire, the company may take one of the following actions:

• Repair the defective product
• Replace the non-functioning luminaire with an identical operational unit
• Offer an equivalent replacement (for example, a luminaire from another series with similar technical specifications)
• Refund the purchase price to the customer.

The following matters are agreed individually with the customer:

• Terms of payment or compensation for installation and dismantling works related to the repair or replacement of the faulty luminaire.
• Terms of shipment of the faulty luminaire, including any costs associated with its transportation.

The company reserves the right to refuse to fulfil its warranty obligations if it is determined that:

• The luminaire has mechanical damage caused by the customer
• The warranty card and/or technical passport of the luminaire has been lost
• There are signs on the product housing indicating attempts to open it
• The customer has made unauthorised modifications to the luminaire design
• There is evidence of exposure of the luminaire to chemicals or liquids
• The luminaire was operated under conditions inconsistent with its intended purpose (the scope of application is specified in the product passport)

Luminaires. Individual Warranty.

The warranty period and terms for a specific SVL product manufactured to an individual order depend on the technical characteristics of the components used in its production.

These terms will be described in detail in the product data sheet.

All customised products are manufactured based on the technical specification approved by the customer.

Components. Warranty and Replacement.

SVL cooperates with reliable suppliers of LED lighting components.

All products offered are certified in Ukraine and covered by manufacturers’ warranties.

Warranty obligations provide for the replacement of defective goods within the warranty period established by the manufacturer.

A mandatory condition for fulfilling warranty obligations is compliance with the product operating requirements.

SVL reserves the right to refuse warranty replacement if a violation of operating conditions is identified.

More detailed information regarding warranty terms and operating requirements for the purchased components can be obtained from an SVL company manager.

If replacement of defective components with identical ones is not possible, the company may offer:

• replacement with products of similar technical characteristics, subject to the customer’s approval;
• a refund.
