A new device has appeared in our assortment — the EL-C laser sensor, which we integrate into the ES32 controller for automating staircase lighting. This solution is created for those who value comfort, energy efficiency, and modern design.

Why is this necessary?

When a person approaches the stairs, the sensor detects movement and instantly activates the lighting. No buttons or switches — everything works automatically. In combination with the ES32 controller, the light turns on gradually, step by step, creating a 'running light' effect — this looks not only beautiful but is also maximally convenient.

Why is this sensor better than a standard IR or PIR one?

  • Precision: The laser beam, with an angle of just 10°, works only when needed — it does not react to extraneous movements from the side.
  • Flexibility of settings: The detection zone can be set from 5 cm to 2.5 m — ideal for both narrow stairs and spacious corridors.
  • Stability: Operates at low voltage (5 VDC) and provides a clear signal without false triggers.
  • Compactness: The diameter is only 32 mm, it is easily mounted in the wall or ceiling, and does not spoil the interior.
  • Reliability: It is not afraid of dust or moisture — it is perfectly suited for apartments, offices, hotels, and shopping malls.

    Where is it applied?

  •     Staircases
  •     Corridors
  •     Entrance areas
  •     Lighting for niches, floors, decorative elements

How does it work?

The sensor is installed at a height of 8 cm or more above the step and is activated when a foot passes through the laser. The light turns on smoothly, with an adjustable delay that can be set to: 2, 5, 10, 30, or 60 seconds.
